Building The facade of San Francesco Church – Agisoft PhotoScan Tutorials

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to get started with Agisoft PhotoScan. Do not be fooled, PhotoScan finds it difficult to rebuild smooth surfaces so I decided to rebuild as a first experiment this facade of the church of San Francesco in Alghero with a yellow sandstone facade and a walnut inlaid wooden portal.
The semiautomatic process of the program converts simple photos into solids with textures. The software manages 12 photos taken at a resolution of 24 megapixels.

Below the list of paragraphs:

– Preferences Settings
– How To load a set of photos
– How To remove photos
– Align Photos
– Build mesh
– How to crop part of the faces
– How to decimate model
– Export Model to OBJ
– If you want to import the model on meshlab

Rotate the object freely inside the window to evaluate the result.
